The London Professional Fire Fighters Association continues to support our brothers and sisters of the London Police Association. We share in their frustration with respect to the inaction of City of London, Ontario – Municipal Government City Council, and like the LPA, the LPFFA also has the desire to “come to reasonable resolutions that are based on respectful, meaningful negotiations that advance the interests of all parties.” Unfortunately we wait,…7 years and counting, as the City of London instead chooses to continue to spend taxpayer’s money on a ‘third party’ Arbitration Board to make these important decisions for them…. more specifically, for YOU. London Ontario – Arbitration News Update, After a lengthy delay the LPFFA is back in Contract Interest Arbitration hearings with the City of London, Ontario on January 10 and 11 at 10 am. These meeting are open to the public.
Hearing dates will be held at the Lamplighter Inn, 591 Wellington Road South, London starting at 10:00 am each day.
