The London Professional Fire Fighters Association continues to support our brothers and sisters of the London Police Association. We share in their frustration with respect to the inaction of City of London, Ontario – Municipal Government City Council, and like the LPA, the LPFFA also has the desire to “come to reasonable resolutions that are based on respectful, meaningful negotiations that advance the interests of all parties.” Unfortunately we wait,…7 years and counting, as the City of London instead chooses to continue to spend taxpayer’s money on a ‘third party’ Arbitration Board to make these important decisions for them…. more specifically, for YOU. LPFFA Arbitration Update

London Ontario – Arbitration News Update, After a lengthy delay the LPFFA is back in Contract Interest Arbitration hearings with the City of London, Ontario on January 10 and 11 at 10 am. These meeting are open to the public.

Hearing dates will be held at the Lamplighter Inn, 591 Wellington Road South, London starting at 10:00 am each day.

THANK YOU!- to all of our LPFFA members for their extra effort and the sacrifices they have made, including being away from their families over the past many months. Our LPFFA members have worked as much as 100+ hours of overtime during an incredibly busy holiday season to meet minimum Fire Service delivery as a result of daily staffing shortages under the City of London’s current reduced personnel model.
